I LOVE jars. Justin says all the time that I have a bit of a hoarding problem. I just can’t seem to throw away a free glass jar with great detail… ever. The craft room has quite a few buckets holding jars for potential projects. And, (secret) I use Classico brand pasta sauce because it is in a mason jar! I save every single pasta jar now. No exception.
This hoarding problem comes in handy for quick seasonal decor! Below are two of my latest jars currently used in a centerpiece for our kitchen table.
Two easy ways to paint a jar:
1. Paint the inside
Simply stroke a color of choice onto the inside wall of the jar. It’s okay if it’s not perfect, you won’t be able to tell once flowers are inside!
2. Paint the outside
Simply stroke a color of choice ontothe outside of the jar. Once it is dry, distress using sandpaper!
